Octavio Tierranegra was born in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico in 1971. He began to study painting at an early age and in 1986 moved to the United States. After spending most of his life in Texas, he attended Sam Houston State University. It is there that he mastered the different mediums. He graduated in 1996 and continues to create artwork in the comfort of his home in historic Montgomery, Texas.
